The University of Cagliari promotes and supports research, taking care of and coordinating the University’s participation in programmes and projects in collaboration with institutional, economic, and social actors.

The University manages relations with the Ministry of Universities and Research as well as with other national and international bodies working in this field; it also promotes the quality of research through the monitoring of the product catalogue and all other related initiatives, interacting with departments, interdepartmental centres, and dedicated University service centres.
