Professors, researchers and professores emeriti from European and non-European countries, for short and long periods, are welcome at our University.
Below are the notices, calls for applications and mobility programmes that also aim to make the University of Cagliari more internationally attractive and increasingly welcoming to foreign students, professors and researchers.
UniCa promotes the internationalisation of the University, expands the teaching offer and boosts scientific research with the Visiting Professor and Visiting Professor/Scientist programmes. These encourage the incoming mobility of professors and scientists working at European and non-European universities, institutions and research centres, including professores emeriti.
The selection takes place every year through a public call for long-term or short-term visits.

Various services are offered to incoming researchers: from assistance with administrative and bureaucratic aspects to practical information on accommodation, daily life, schooling for children, language courses and translation services.
In 2011 the Erasmus office became a Euraxess service centre, part of the European Commission's Euraxess network, and is the only Euraxess service centre in Sardinia.
