How to take the admission tests and enrol

In order to enrol for courses at the University of Cagliari for the 2023/2024 academic year, you will have to follow two simple, interconnected steps. In order for your enrolment to become effective, you will have to complete both:

Tolc

For all three-year graduate courses and single-cycle master's graduate courses (with the exception of those courses that envisage specific tests as described below), admission tests or initial preparation tests are conducted using the Tolc system >> find out more, watch the video!

We would like to remind you that from the 2023/2024 academic year, admission to the single-cycle graduate courses Medicine and Surgery and Dentistry and Prosthodontics will also require taking the specific Tolc (Tolc Med).

To take the Tolc, you must register on the Cisia website. You will have to check the deadlines and arrangements for the test on the Cisia regulations (https://www.cisiaonline.it/). The registration fee for the TOLC tests is 30 euros.

For courses with programmed access, you must also register for the admission test on the UniCa website (click here) by accessing secretarial office/admission tests, strictly within the deadlines indicated in the announcements. At the end of the procedure, you will be given a pre-registration number, which you must keep in order to be able to check your test result.

You can take the Tolc in person in the university's computer rooms (TOLC at the university); for those courses that provide for it, you can also take it at home (TOLC@CASA) using a PC (fixed or portable) connected to the Internet, according to the procedures described in the document: TOLC@CASA STATION CONFIGURATION, TESTING AND NETWORK REQUIREMENTS.

We recommend that you take the Tolc test as soon as possible, so that you can retake it if you are dissatisfied with the result.

In order to prepare for the tests, you have free courses available that you can take online by accessing the Orientation platform www.orientazione.it. If your school is registered on the Orientation portal, you can take free simulations of the tests (PPS-Tests) in class and with your teachers. The PPS tests are identical to the Tolc tests in terms of difficulty level and number of questions.

Arched Test

For the graduate course in Architectural Sciences, the admission test will take place via the Arched Test. The test takes place online through the Cisia platform, directly from your home.

In order to take part in the Arched Test, you must register exclusively on the University of Cagliari website - online services at https://unica.esse3.cineca.it/Home.do.

You will soon find all the updates for the academic year 2023/24 here.
