Numerous student societies operate at the University of Cagliari that carry out cultural and social activities aimed exclusively at university students. Some of these associations are an offshoot of others of a national or even international nature, and in this specific field they provide members with opportunities for meetings, traineeships and courses, very often with considerable financial and organisational facilities.
Many of these societies enjoy subsidies from the university and ERSU for the realisation of specific programmes.
In order to make the societies' work more transparent and to access subsidies, the University of Cagliari's Roll of Student Societies was established.
