Erasmus+ 2021-2027

ECHE approval

The European Commission has recently approved, with the highest possible rating (100 out of 100), the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education of the University of Cagliari, the instrument that will allow our University to participate in the new international initiatives of the Erasmus+ Programme for the next seven years, from 2021 to 2027.

In order to obtain the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education, our University presented its internationalisation strategy with respect to the opportunities of the Erasmus+ Programme (EPS).

The presented plan (EPS) foresees a strong participation of UNICA in the Erasmus+ Programme in all its articulations and the involvement of all the structures of the University in the new activities related to the promotion of an inclusive and sustainable international mobility.

The priority objective is to allow participation in European mobility actions to become an increasingly integrated element both in the academic experiences of students and in the careers of university lecturers and staff, giving space above all to those who are economically and socially disadvantaged in the university world in order to guarantee real inclusion for all, overcoming the barriers that hinder access to European opportunities.

Strategic priorities: promotion of basic and advanced digital skills, dissemination of innovative pedagogies, distance learning.

Opportunities for 'green' mobility are also increasing, with the promotion of sustainable and environmentally friendly modes of transport and responsible behaviour on the part of citizens who play an increasingly active, aware and creative role with regard to the environment.
