The University of Cagliari promotes the free movement of people and ideas in order to contribute to the global dissemination of knowledge.

This objective is pursued through multiple activities:

• the enhancement and implementation of incoming and outgoing international mobility programmes, dedicated to students, but also to researchers, teaching and technical-administrative library staff
• the continuous development of strategies for research and teaching that support interaction and collaboration with international universities and strategic partners  
• the promotion of special reception programmes for students from Ukraine and countries bordering the southern shore of the Mediterranean, and for refugees, holders of international and humanitarian protection and asylum seekers residing in the Region of Sardinia.
