A selection procedure has been launched, for qualifications only, as part of the project called "SMILE NOW", for the awarding of no. 6 two-year scholarships to non-EU students (excluding foreign citizens holding Italian citizenship), who intend to enrol at this University for the academic year 2023-2024 in the first year of a Master's degree course in order to follow the educational activities of the course in presence.

SMILE NOW scholarships will be awarded, as a priority, to foreign students who have applied to the Italian State for international protection or have been granted refugee status or are holders of subsidiary or special protection.

The winners of the "SMILE NOW" grants will also be exempt from paying university fees and will have to pay stamp duty and, if due, the regional tax for the right to study.

The period of use of the SMILE NOW grants runs from 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2024; their renewal will start on 1 October 2024.
