The student web radio of the University of Cagliari cooperates with the degree course in Communication Sciences. UniCa Radio was the first to enter the digital world, in December 2018; in 2020, it received the award as the best Italian university broadcaster. The broadcaster is also on the Spotify streaming platform.

In addition to performing for over a decade the delicate and fundamental role of broadcasting, support and 'shoulder' to the news of the University of Cagliari, UniCa Radio has been the official broadcaster of some of the main events related to scientific research, teaching, training, innovation of the territory promoted by various structures of the university. Among many others, the European Researchers' Night, Ateneika, UniStem, European Erasmus projects, Reporters of the night, but also traineeship oases for various students at the university, especially those enrolled in Humanities and the Communication Sciences graduate course. In fact, Coporate vision – which is an attentive and credible in the study of innovative realities worldwide – has rewarded the Sardinian radio media partner of the regional capital university with the 'Best student award'. Thus doing, it has also rewarded the city and the metropolitan area of Cagliari, which is brimming with new generations and culture.
