The University of Cagliari offers all researchers the opportunity to receive support in accessing funding opportunities within the European Framework Programs and to initiate or strengthen collaborations to enhance networking. Additionally, it provides external specialized consulting services in technical, contractual, legal, and financial matters with industry experts, along with instrumental performances in consulting services.
The “Progetta Horizon” office is dedicated to simplifying the process of accessing funding opportunities within the European framework programs, providing specialized and personalized support.
The services include:
- accurate mapping of competences and research areas within Unica, followed by targeted promotion of funding calls;
- on-demand assistance for researchers who wish to identify and evaluate funding opportunities on specific topics;
- support in building strong consortia, ensuring the development of solid and collaborative project proposals;
- guidance in crafting the scientific section (Part B) of project proposals.

Crowdhelix networking platform
In order to strengthen the research strategies of the University of Cagliari and in line with the objectives of the strategic integrated programming plan, the University of Cagliari, as of January 2022, has decided to subscribe to the Crowdhelix collaboration intelligence platform to enhance its chances of participating in international competitive calls for proposals and in particular those of the Horizon Europe programme.
Using Crowdhelix enables all UniCa researchers to initiate and/or strengthen collaborations by increasing networking and actively engaging with different research and innovation communities around the world.
