The guesthouse is located at 12/3 San Giorgio Street, in the "Polo Aresu" and in total consists of 10 single rooms with bathroom, 3 double rooms with bathroom and a suite with one double room and one single room with shared bathroom. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, telephone and television, mini fridge, hairdryer and Internet connection.

The service is available to professors and scholars from other universities or research organisations, including scholarship holders and assignees, visiting the University of Cagliari for study meetings or conferences. International mobility students and foreign students enrolled on doctoral, specialisation and master's degree courses at the University of Cagliari are also admitted.

In the event of special requirements, subject to authorisation by the Rector, the use of the guest quarters may also be granted to persons with specific needs, but always subject to the actual availability of places.
