Ilenia Ruggiu is Professor of Constitutional Law at the UniCa’s Law Department. She obtained her Ph.D. in 2004 in Public and European Law at the University of Palermo, and then continued with university teaching and research. Among her previous positions and management experiences: she directed the university master in "Governance and local government" and coordinated the European project Horizon 2020 entitled "Climate and security with local authorities" (Clisel).
She is the author of the book "Il giudice antropologo" (“The anthropologist judge”), published by Franco Angeli and translated for Routledge London. She is currently writing a book entitled "Patriarchy, Patriarchies".
